James Madison Rolls Georgia State for Fifth Straight
James Madison blows out Panthers 80-65. After a short-lived moment in the win column in the previous game, Georgia State finds themselves on the losing side of things once more. The Dukes jumped out to an early lead and never looked back at the Panthers, leading by as much as seventeen points en route to their victory.

The Georgia State defense was unable to slow down James Madison in the paint where the Dukes scored 58 of their 80 points against the Panthers. Senior guard Cliff Davis went off for a season-high 27 points and was an efficient 71.4% from the field, tacking on four rebounds and two steals to his impressive stat line.
James Madison wins again!
5 wins in a row for @JMUMBasketball. Cliff Davis cannot be stopped. His 3rd 20+ game on this win streak alone. Led the way w/ 27.

Despite the loss, freshman guard Micah Tucker continues to impress this season in his starts with the Panthers. Tucker scored 22 points against James Madison, his second-highest point total this season and led the team in three-point shooting by going 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. The perimeter defense for Georgia State kept the score from being any worse, only allowing James Madison to go 2-of-15 from three-point range as a team. The defense also accumulated six blocked shots as a unit, with sophomore forward Joah Chappelle’s three blocks leading the way.
